What's up with the cbid matches? I've seen several posts referring to them almost in hushed reverent tones. I've made a lot of buyz on CBID, just got my first box of matches :-)

Got my first pack last week. WTF does this mean? Is it CigarBids answer to airline miles?

I get them almost every shipment. Must be compensation for the billions of dollars I blow at this site every week...

WELL?! Aren't they the nicest damn smiley face matches you ever saw? I have lots and may light a cigar for you with one someday.

Dirty lingerie? Me too...the return address was from Arkansas. They were NASCAR pajamas with the ass cut out. Go figure!!

Truth be told, the matches suck, strike a few matches on the box and the striker becomes worthless. Terrible Matches!

One day... they will be a collectors item, and someone will trade you ten primo smokes for one box of cb matches, right here on this site!

You cannot TRULY appreciate the smiley face C-Bid matches unless you accompany the receipt of the matches along with the PEE PEE dance!!!

This must be done within the first 3 mins. to get the full effect...

In the event that you get CI matches (from an order placed with CI) and mistakenly do the PEE PEE dance, the only way to correct the error is to do the EEP EEP dance.

I have had to do the EEP EEP dance once before and believe me... It's not fun at all. I hurt my back trying to complete it!!

For me, I love to get the C-Bid matches... It makes me say "I AM somebody" !!!

I keep my cbid matches separate from my local shop matches...they don't play well together...

Do you take your matches out of the box for storage or keep them boxed?

Should I put cello on my matches for storage?

I use my matches as a hygrometer...if they won't light, I ease up on the humidifier...or just add more matches! bwwwwaaaahahahahahahahahaha!

Matches aging for long term use definitely get put in cigar cello...

JD1,
I have to disagree with you... for long term storage, the cello should be off. When storing matches with different color heads, they should be stored head to foot, this way the colors will not blend, only the cedar. (ie: blue + red = purple... who uses purple matches???)

Just my 2ยข... but it seems to work...

Thanks Low, ...I've not thought about that and it makes perfect sense...what the f@#$ was I thinking?! You can't have the color on the heads marrying like that!
I'm amazed at what cigar-smarts I get from this board. Thanks again!

The other day I lit a cigar with a match that I found in the bottom of my sock drawer. Ended up with cotton mouth.

hehehe, yeah, I had the same thing happen. After going through the dryer, it bore a striking resemblance to a book match!
