I've been seeing a lot more bids lately on an assortment of items. It also seems like prices
have been going a bit higher. Don't get me
wrong though, prices are still great!

Has anyone else noticed this?

Good for Cbid, bad for me :(

Yea, even within the last month bid prices have been climbing. Just as well, I need to take a break.

I've noticed also. I think there is a lot of buzz about cigars that some people might not bid on, but after reading reviews, are willing to try. Prices keep bouncing up little by little.

Know your cutoff point and be patient. Usually these items come around over and over again. Cbid keeps a rather large stock of almost every item. I consistently pay 10-20% under retail. So welcome the overbidders!

I just posted on the other message about how prices have climbed from when I started in January. But I got a 15-pack of Bad Frogs for a buck. WooHoo! Maybe people are stocking up for the war. I got several cigars to shove up Saddam's a@#hole.

Not to be alarmist or anything, but one thing to consider is that the way state budgets are situated the day when sales tax (esp. tobacco taxes) is applied to internet sales is likely not far off. Based on current deficits, our legislators will not be able to resist this tempting revenue source much longer. Might be time to "stock up"

i gave away some of my secrets and now i can't buy a decent 10 pack for less then $5.00, or a decent box
of 25 for without bidding almost $10.00. are the days of the "decent" 30 cent cigar gone forever?

but in my small way i have helped some of our poor bretheren

"decent" synonym for a crappy cigar that a cheap **** pretends is smokeable.
