It is sooooo much like a Family here!
You all are "Great"!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the kudos...
I will be staying in Germany but moving to a different location. I will continue to swing a (good) deal every now and again sharing my personal treasures.
After serious deliberation I decided on the Shark....I did have a SS crying out for me too. As they were resting nicely together!
So, I smoked the Shark or should I say the Shark smoked me....Wow!
Preparation: Got the Rosewood Xikar III out and a box of Habano cedar matches. I wanted to ensure that I did this gar right.
Visual Inspection. The gars appearance is incredible and my mouth started watering - literally. The red ribbon really set off the gar. When I got the Shark out of the cello, I noticed this terrible white sticky substance "All Over" the gar. Now I know it had been laying in my humi a while but to have this type of plum...Wow!!!!!
The cut I made initially was too short. I noticed it based upon the tight draw. I tend to cut this type/style of gar short because I fear losing the wrapper. So, I had to cut a little more and received the perfect draw.
Burn. Even smooth and never got hot - that was until I was down to the nub. I hated putting this gar down.
Taste. What a stick, spicy, complex, smooth draw, rich flavors with a predominate spice that I would normally associate with Havanas. Wow!
Overall rating - UnFrickin Believable!
Low - My Brother - My hats off to you! Thank you for the experience! Yes, I smell a trade comin on!
Regards,
B
