Is it possible that this board is under censorship? Yesterday I posted a comment that might be considered unkind to the president. Compared the ulitmatum speech with a "Get out of Dodge" cowboy movie. The post has been removed. Might have been the comment about the chimp. No big deal, it wasn't Pulitzer Prize material...But it wasn't commie sedition either or even obscenity. I wasn't aware that Big Brother was filtering this forum.

Looks like the whole post got "Yanked by Gonz" !!

A few people got into a heated discussion which led to name calling... etc.

They weren't playing nice together...

I guess I missed the fireworks. For what it's worth guys, what I said was more in the spirit of a political cartoon. Was making fun of the delivery, not the content. Political satire is as American as apple pie. They do it every night on the tonight show. Okay, so I'm not as funny as Letterman, that's why he gets the big bucks.

efm --- your post was not the reason for your thread getting pulled ...

Yes ... threads or posts here can be cencored if they include the use of profanity, advertising or commercial purposes, competing web sites, disparaging an individual, a race or religion, a company, or website.

What got it pulled, was the thoughtless and regressing retoric between Mag and myself that led to its demise ...

For my part, in what I consider to be a (my) blatant disregard for the 'Forum Rules & Conditions', I apologize to both our hosts and the forum members here for taking part in a personal vendetta (that was getting out of hand) that let your thread being pulled.

Magnafide --- life's too short to hold grudges (at least that's what I keep telling my wife) ... LOL! I refuse to waste my time dwelling on the small stuff.

I have no hard feelings against you, or anyone else here, for that matter! It seems that some people have the ability to 'push the right buttons', and you now take the ranks with the very few that were able to find those buttons ... ;^)

... life goes on ... it's all good.
