Tailgater,
firstly not everyone in Engalnd speaks with plums in their mouths, only the hoorar henry's...secondly the smuggling of tobacco in general into the UK is done because of the high rate of tax inposed by the british government, Tobacco smuggling is a masive problem in the UK, with France only 22 miles away at it's closest point. The government indicates that one in five 20 pack of ciggarettes sold in here has been smuggled, and is "Costing" them billions a year in lost revenues.
I wondered weather or not you had similar problems, maybe tobacco costs less in South America than USA?...that was where I was coming from, I genuinely was not taking the P**s!...yes we have the opportunity to buy cubans here, but is a very expensive hobby unless you break the Law. A Trinidad for instance costs between £40-£80($60-$120) sterling per stick depending on your source on your source in the UK but can be bought in Spain for much less...I raised a genuine point and was looking for a serious answer.
Brent, I got your mail, sorry I have not responded, I will do shortly.
Oh and tailgater...just for you ..."Chocks away", "To the fore", and "toodle Pip" for now!
