right now with 3 RSVP's you got an auction going on. Best to let people know what you want in return rather this is what i got/what you gonna give. i really like your selections but if you can do this trade again please email me and maybe we could work something out.

Coach is absolutely corret in this (but I'm sure you weren't aware) ...

... 'best offer', in many forums, is considered to be a form of auction, intended for those who wish to profit from other members.

If you want to auction cigars, take them to a site set up for that purpose.

What do you mean - who WON ???
This was a TRADE - not an Auction !!!! Haven't you been following ?
My offer to trade was succesfully concluded with 2 of the finer members of this board.

docrks --- don't get upset.

The only point that Coach and I were trying to make, is "LMK your trade offer", sounds a lot like the 'best offer' you get, is the one that you will do the trade with. That is a form of auction.

Evidently, that wasn't your intention ... so no harm done.

Most trades here (and on most trade boards I've seen) usually are straight up ... I have 'this', and I am looking for 'that'. The first person (or more, depending on how many packages you have set up) that responds ... is the one who gets the trade.

Many of the new folks to these types of trading boards don't realize this, and this was just a good example to educate the masses ... that 'best offer' trades are considerd to be in bad taste, and are usually frowned upon.

Seems like legitimate constructive critique/advise. May not have been taken that way...

Found a package on my doorstep from docrks. Was just a friendly gesture of a few cigars. Among them an Oliva O maddie torp and a '64 diplomatico maduro. What a gesture...what a guy!

Anytime doc; like I said. Oh, and keep your right eye open because generosity begets generosity my friend.
