I was watching the news this morning before I went to work and what I was seeing was just amazing. I was watching Fox News and they were covering the anti-everything protest going on in New York city. There must be a store which sells only stereo typical radical wear. I observed this Caucasian female dressed in a black panther party style militant outfit complete with black hat and one black leather clove. There was a young Caucasian male approximately 21 years of age with the latest in retro 1969 clothing. Keep in mind this kid was not even born or thought of when these clothing items where popular. These protesters had signs for all occasions many against the war many against the world trade and commerce several had signs which read news is being censored by CNN. Then for the Coup De Grace (the only thing from France worth a damn) these mental giants laid down in the middle of the street during rush hour. These could not have been New Yorkers, because if they were they would have realized the cab drivers will run them over and think they it was just a pothole they hit. This type of protest might play in Loveville, CA. but not in the city that never sleeps. I am all for the freedom to express views and the freedom of speech I have listen to several arguments for and against war right here on this forum. They have all been well written and with merit, but these professional protesters I can not understand are they like lobbyist do they get payed for running their Pie Hole or do they survive on donations alone. I can tell you one thing none of these people had a cigar, what does that tell you.

No, don't complain about the protestors.
They have the RIGHT to do that.
Forget about the fact that the ecomony is in the ****, and now these folks can't get to work in order to be more productive.
One day won't make a difference, these people have the RIGHT to lay down in traffic.
They have the RIGHT to speak out about what they don't know, and therefore they SHOULD do just that.
Don't criticize them, for that is apparently the only freedom of speech which we don't have the right to express.

Actually they DON'T have the right to lay down in traffic. This is obstruction of traffic which is illegal.

Rick... you should have had eye surgery sooner... you may need to go shopping for a new wardrobe once you get a real good look at what those clothes really look like with good eyesight.....

Most of those arrested will only get slapped with a "disorderly" and released. Many won't even get that.

If the police had even half a sack, they'd book 'em with the much stiffer penalty for Obstruction.
Heck, when right wing pro-lifers laid down in front of abortion clinics, they were charged under the RICO act, basically treating them like organized crime members.

Some of those same pro-life "protesters" have also killed doctors and bombed clinics. I'd say that's a tad different...

Freedom and rights are a wonderful thing, and yes they have every right to protest, but not to disrupt! This is the key and they rights they are using is meant to disrupt and disturb, nothing more!

Chris,
A postman or two have been known to open fire on innocents, yet we let them walk up to our doors each day.
Don't confuse the issues.
The protestors in front of clinics were arrested because they obstructed. These anti-GOP idiots are being merely slapped for the same thing.
The PC Police are in full force.
