Tasting seminar and the like. Should be cool. I am going alone since my mate bailed on me. I was thinking of taking a few other "friends" with me. Ok here are my selections, tell me what ya think. Mayorga robusto, graciously supplied by rck_1, a helix. Maybe a short story too. Sound good? Suggestions would bee good too, but only if I have them ;) Which is unlikely LOL. But still welcome

Sounds like good choices to me. Any suggestions I'd make would be very subjective, but consider starting with something milder than the Mayorga, like a Griffin perhaps, before moving on to the Short Story to finish the evening. BTW, do they spit out the tasting samples like you hear about in a wine tasting event?

Not sure, this is the first event of this type i am going to. In fact I am not sure why I got invited, must be my winning smile :D But hey, I don't turn down free booze, especially walker black!

Went to the tasting event in Philly (Loews Hotel). Unfortunately there was a "No Smoking" policy in effect. Other than that, it was awsome...plenty of free booze, some nice food, and a little knowledge. All hail Johnny Walker!!
