I've received informative feedback on the Roly line of smokes by Mr. Reyes. Now, how about his original blockbuster, Cuba Aladios? I just won a five pack and will smoke my first soon. What should I expect? Also, does he still make these, or have these been maturing for some time already?

Very unimpressive smoke...Kind of like the Sancho Panzas...No developing flavor.

I disagree, I think very similar to the Puros Indios line, I think the Toro and Corona Deluxe the best of these, sometimes the smoke I noticed can have a dustiness to it, but aged properly and these cigars are often outstanding, in fact sometimes maybe even a bit sweeter tasting than the Puros Indios. I says sometimes as the flavor can vary from one cigar to the next.

I recieved a five pack of PI Toros last night. These are the 1st I have tried.Damn this thing was so tight I could'nt get any smoke out of it what I did get had a nice flavor but I had to abandon it half way through even after I'd cut a good 1/2 inch off the cap.In it's defense it seemed a bit too moist inside but yet the wrapper was a bit dry (cracking when I'd pinch it).I'll have to leave the other 4 in the humidor for at least a couple of weeks to stabilize?Any Thoughts?

I have smoked the Toro before and it is one of my favorites. Just won another 5 pk. here and can't wait for them to arrive. What a fine line of smokes, sorry to hear of your bad experience but don't give up on them.

I tried to love the Puros Indios, but just couldn't! The PIs are well made and are priced right but I just can't get into the taste.

I'm just now finishing the last of a box of PI Toros I won at CB 4 months ago and I'm making plans to get some more as soon as I can. All of them had perfect draws and consistant burn. There may have been some variation in flavor from one stick to another but not enough for me to fret over. IMHO they are well worth the wait in the humi.
