I never had a Graycliff but when I saw this auction, someone must of made a mistake. Are they that good?

Apparently he wanted to bypass that whole "get 'em cheaper at auction" thing and just go right to the MSRP. Gotta love the overbidders. They keep CBid in bidness.

Answer to question, not accounting for tremendous variations in taste perceptions: no.

I tried one once. The proprietor had them for like 16 bux. I said, "what's up with that?" I'd never had one before, he said, take one for 8, you'll like it, you'll be back for more. He was wrong...

Hey, if folks aren't allowed to overpay for cigars of questionable quality, then the terrorists win.

Graycliff cigars command some of the highest bids. Why,I don't know. A very mediocre cigar at best. Some people equate cost per cigar with quality and taste. Sometimes that's true,in this case it's not. X

Hey, when I roll up a few Bejamins on girlfriend's creamy thighs, then spark-em up so I can get my Graycliff going…, the taste is incredible!!

Choner: Try winning some Hoja de Nicaragua cigars. They're a pretty darned good medium bodied cigar which come at a VERY inexpensive price. Can usually pick up a 5 pack for $7 - $10.

Is this an overbid?
It's all relative ...
I saw them at a local shop here in California going for $31.73 per cigar!

... and I see he is still slightly under internet retail prices for that particular cigar.
So ... I would say no, this is not an overbid.

Save the money, or at least spend it on some great sticks like CAO or Padrons!
