Well the cough has abated, the nose has stopped running like a track star, and the head is a bit less cloudy... I'm tempted to crack the Ploomidoor and enjoy a tasty treat. Tomorrow is 1 week since I had a schmoke and I'm jonesin for one. But history has taught me that it should be next week before I indulge. Till then, I'm peering through the glass top, like an 8 year old at a pet store.

i had my first cigar in the outside lunch area of the hospital 3 days after my angioplasty. and on the picture post you can see me 2 hours after eye surgery with a cigar in my mouth.

what's the point of "staying alive" if you can't enjoy life's simple pleasures, fudge, no nuts, bryers banana fudge chunk, trader joes hawaiian style potatoe chips, a fatburger, a warm krispy kream, and a decent cigar, or a bad frog, whatever.

if cigars are not allowed in heaven, i will not go.
mark twain.

Heh, hope your healing well Rick. I'm still on hiatus... I did take a drink tonight though, 18 year old Glen Fiddich (sp) neat with a splash of water. Makes me want a cigar! I'm holding off till next weekend. Just getting back on my game after a cold. The qstn, what will it be!

Well, Rick, I think the point is that were we not to be alive, hopefully, someone else's life wouldn't be as full.

Still on hiatus :-( two weeks this weekend, when I hope to end it. I don't have SARS or anything, but I've learned from history that cigars and recoop from colds don't mix well for me at all. Hopefully Saturday I can light up. It's going to be some very special styx, I can tell you that!
