Okay, I have been lurking around for a few days and you all are a riot. Love the pics and comments. So I am the newbie. What are the traditions and someone is supposed to get a cigar. My question is can that gar go to the troops instead. I also have some surplus that I would donate the the troops.
What do you think?

Welcome Smokey.

Here's an email to someone who has some APO addresses. docrks (at) army (dot) com. I'm sure there are others here who can give you some more names.

I would like to send some cigars to the troops as well. Can someone else provide an email address to someone in our armed forces serving over in Iraq? I want to send it to someone different, someone who hasn't received any cigars yet. I guess I want to share the wealth with other soldiers.

Also, can you give me some suggestions as how to pack them. I've heard that military mail can take up to a month to deliver and want to make sure they survive the trip over there.

Thanks,
Matt

I am with Hoagie, can we get a list to see if we can spread a little joy the troops. Maybe a small igloodor would keep moist enough to make through apo mail? Any other suggestions
