Haven't had 'em yet, but I've seen some posts on alt.cigars.smokers that recommend freezing all new shipments (ziploc'd) for a few days, the moving them to the fridge, finally putting them in the 'dor. Seems like overkill to me, but then I haven't lost any smokes to bugs yet. Anybody?

Beetles? They're great, expecially Ringo and McCartney but I never tried freezing them. (Rolling on the floor in laughter).

Seriously, I soak all my cigars in Raid.

Dang it, I so witty I can't stand it.

Rick,
I lost an enormous amount of good cigars a while back. I freeze everything now. 3 days in the freezer, 1 day in the fridge, and then into the cooli or the humi.

But, then again, most think this is overkill, until they loose half of there premos. I am away on business sometimes for more than a week so I dont take chances.

It only takes a cpl days for an infestation to desimate your entire humi!
