I have completed this package to ship to my Nephew... the goods come from our Unit there are local places who have donated all this to the Family Support group at our Place...I packed it with things I know I used when in that Environment... but left out food Items and anything that mat slow them down or Bulk them down... just Nessetities (sp) and 2 box's of Cigars along with the others you see there.... in a letter to him I told him what ones to keep and what ones to share with the Iraqi Locals...to give these people anything like a Cigar is almost total friendship in their view... I made many friends with the locals in Kuwait with Sharing Cigars... One of them Were the Jewlers in a town over there...another was the Harley Dealer Owners and Mechanic...

Hog, you are a great American. Let us know what you hear from your nephew if possible.

Hog,

I packed up a couple of boxes this afternoon for my nephew also. He's been over there about three weeks and I just got his mailing address this weekend. He was some place in Qatar but who knows where he is today. He's an artilleryman. I just hope it doesn't take too long to find him. I double bagged the cigars and put in a couple of those disposable humdifiers.

I know he smokes cigars so I included about a box of mixed brands along with a lot of the same kind of stuff you sent. I also included a couple of cartons of smokes and some chewing tobacco for him to pass around to his buds. Unfortunately a lot of those guys/gals don't have families and friends to send them stuff. It will be awhile before they have a PX set up at the Baghdad Airport.

Nice package Hog...
I have also made donations of canned goods, chapstick, etc., but never a rug... the rug is a nice touch... They can wipe the dirt off their feet before getting into bed... hehehe
