Reserva Selecta Carlos Torano Robusto Tubes:

I just won a five pack of these. I did a search and found no info archived here.

The description claims that this is the Torano lines best cigar to this date. If that is true, then this cigar should be an awesome smoke.

I've had the Torano Exodus 1959, if its better than that, then its gonna be a regular for me, well when I can get em. I guess there is a limited amount rolled each year.

Have any of you tried these? Any comments or reviews?

Mag, I just smoked one on Friday. Not bad. Started out pretty peppery in my palate (really peppery -almost too 'hot') but mellowed out into a smooth, mild-medium bodied smoke. It burned great, and didn't get harsh at any point.

I smoked one with a friend, who received the same results. For me, it may make a good change of pace cigar, when I am looking for a more mellow smoke.
