Only for so long, then they would come down to reasonable prices...

I would volunteer to be the last to say it, but somehow I don't think so.

Reading this post reminded me that I smoked one of these a couple of weeks ago. I bought it at a shop on the Riverwalk in San Antonio for around 6 bucks. I don't remember specifically what I liked about it but I enjoyed it. When I was finished with it, I placed the band in my wallet. That's my reminder to myself that the cigar was worth a second try. I'll keep it there until I get a chance to buy a couple more.

I had tried to get a hold of some of these for a while, with no luck. Yesterday, I was out of town on business and checked a shop that was near the place I was staying. They had the churchill, corona and robusto. I bought some of each. Smoked a corona last night. The last cigar that gave me a buzz was a Cuban Bolivar. The LADC corona smacked me around hard. Tried to play cricket, but couldn't seem to hit the board. Although strong, it had a rich, complex flavour that changed a couple of times as I smoked it. Well worth the five dollars I paid.

Indeed, they are fine and relatively reasonable. I wish CBid would start carrying them. Still no luckā€¦

Maybe I'll go pick up a couple more singles and give them another shot after aging awhile. I've only smoked the big boy while playing golf. Way too many re-lights for me. I believe I'll need to smoke one inside to give a fair assessment.
