Is it just me? Or is ABC like "really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really" slanting the news to make it look "bad" in Iraq? I like to b!tch at them so I watch 'Peter' Jennings (boy did his parents know what they were doing or what...). Something about the way they dwelled on any possible thing that was negative. And it wasn't a single report, it was thematic, it was pervasive. I truly believe people who don't listen carefully may not see it. But if you do, you will see a clear bias. One intended to make you feel like this was a bad idea... I mean, it's a war zone, right? the country was ruled by a brutial dictator for 30 years? But they report on looting as if it were the end of the world? The focus on man-on-the-street interviews where people are boo whoing because the US isn't bringing order to the country? Order? GIVE ME A F*CKING BREAK! THEY'VE BEEN LIVING WITH SADAM (HITLER LITE) HOUSAIN FOR 30 F*CKING YEARS AND THEY'RE WHINING BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE LOOTING! AND ABC F*CKING NEWS IS GOBBLING IT UP AND REPORTING IT AS THOUGH IT WERE THE PREVAILING MOOD IN THE COUNTRY!!! PETER F*UCKING JENNINGS SHOULD BE HOG TIED AND TREATED TO A LITTLE ELECTRO SHOCK THERAPY LIKE MANY OF SADAM'S "guests"... Perpahs that would lend some "perspective"? It's nothing new Robby. Remember a couple weeks ago when the troops advancing from the south first met resistance and the networks were telling us that the war plan was all wrong and there weren't enough troops and they'd have to fall back and start all over again and blah blah blah. They were shoveling gloom and doom bullshevek. That's what reporters do.
