The Habana 2000 wrapper was developed because of its resistance to blue mold. Tobacco farmers were losing about 65-90% of their crops to blue mold. The H2000 plant is engineered from Cuban seed tobacco to solve/quell this problem.

Resistance to mold and spores that wreak havoc on tobacco. I prefer a Cameroon or Ct. Shade myself.

I prefer the cameroon, but also like the dark brazilian or wrapper from Ecuador, I am getting bored with Ct. Shade.

IMHO I think it's also resistant to flavor.
