Has anyone tried these. The concept was obviously stolen from "lars tetens" but the cigars look interesting. The lars "shorty" is an excellent occasional smoke. There is something very relaxing about that special sauce that lars dips em in. Comments please.....

I understand you. I'm trying hard to bitch about it. I'm trying to come up with some creative ideas to make this site as enjoyable as it once was. My lack of participation recently is directly related to posts like this one (no offense to the author of this post) and the other abused topics. Obviously, we need to create a way for others to view the most frequently discussed topics before posting. I know..I know, if I don’t like the post ..I shouldn’t bother to open it. However, if that were the case I wouldn’t read 90% of the crap that I’ve seen here lately. We have to get creative! Any ideas gang? This site is making me snooze!

How can you measure the ring gauge on a box-pressed cigar? Things that make you go hhhhhhhhmmmmmm. LOL

I think the MOST repetative post is the one crying about repetative posts. (was that deja vu?). Anyway, although this and other subjects are indeed brought up consistently, it is often refreshing to hear new views and insights on the same old subjects. This site obviously gains newbies on a weekly basis. Yes, they should check the archives but that won't allow FRESH perspectives to be posted on old subject matter. You guys are so grouchy!

The key word is "FRESH"....I have yet to see a post revisited with a subject that was already discussed (Ex: Acid cigars, Overbidding, etc) that contained "FRESH" information...S.O.S...Sorry if I seem a little "grouchy"...I do agree that newbies join up every week and this is bound to happen but lately it's been almost an everyday occurrence (or at the very least every other day)

Well I'll answer the orginal post. I have tried the one with the yellow band and I enjoyed it alot. It was well made and had a good draw. However keep it away from the rest of your cigars because it has a powerful smell that could affect your other cigars. I recommend them.

Don't let 'em scare you away, gulfspray. If you feel like it, tell them to kiss your Acid. Your question is asked quite often. I personally wouldn't use the archives on every subject I want to discuss; there's got to be a better way to get answers to questions previously asked. Don't worry though; this is kind of like hazing. Ya want to REALLY ruffle some feathers? Post a note asking why so many over-bid on certain items.

They make cigars dipped in LSD!? Who's this "Lars Tetens" character? Why does he dip his cigars in "special sauce"? Why do people find Lars' special sauce "relaxing"? ;)
