MAn I don't know how other poor college students are able to buy and smoke good gars on what they can make while going to classes full time. I shudder to think how much most of what I have bought on cbid, would have cost me in local stores. There are cases where I have to pay more, in some cases almost half or almost all of what it would cost for a five pack, for one cigar. One such case was with Cuban Parejos, in one of my local stores each cigar is 7 bucks, for a five pack when I bought it it was 9, do the math. I see that buying from the local shops is supporting them, but man I will have to get a steady job first to do that. I just wanted to say thanks to cbid for allowing me to smoke some quality smokes, while on a budget. Also to the great members here for thier wisdom and support :) You guys and gals are great!

At first you praise it then you hate it. After a while you come to depend on it.

I haven't gotten to the hate stage yet, maybe I just skipped that one and went straight to the depend stage :) I really couldn't afford to buy singles in stores! Let alone boxes.

I know the feeling. Luckily I found this site during my freshman year. I went away from it last year, but came back this year after realizing what a saver it was.

Mike - Kinda sounds like you're institutionalized, a little different, but similar to Shawshank Redemption. Was that what you were getting at??

I'll definatly have to agree wholeheartedly with that. C-bid has saved my bank account while allowing my humidor to look fairly respectable with whats in it.

Chris, you win the prize.

"First you hate them, then you get used to them. Before long you come to depend on them. That's institutionalized."

Cbid is too good for us I'm spending more money than I would have just because of the price so know I'm going to have too many cigars with no where to put them and no money in the back account to buy a humidor

Yep I wrote in a previous entry newbie to cbid...bid on a lot no way I could win... Price was WAY to low. Now smoking 800 dollars worth of cigars LOL. Very addictive. But I got all my smokes well under half what I would have paid locally. Thank You Cbid for making me go and purchase another 200 + humodour ;-)
