I think it is about time for another cigar herf here in E. PA. I am thinking about something outside in a park setting. before it gets too hot out that we all want to go into the a/c. I am thinking a BYOC, BYOF and BYOB. Input is really needed here. I think everyone that came to the last had a good time, so a good time will be had again. Lets get the ball rolling guys.

Ropeman,

Haven't seen ya posting in a while. Where ya been??

You know I'm in !! Gotta talk to the guys/gals at CB/CI to see what input they may have. Maybe they know a park or area where we can herf. I know they talk about musikfest... Don't know when that is, though. Gotta see if we can get the same DJ that was at the Brew Works... You know how much we all loved the music... LOL

Smoke On ...

Give me some prep time and I'm in. I could make the excuse of visiting wife's relatives in PA.

Just been laying low, no pun intended. I thought I would throw this out there. I know I had a really fun time last time and I am ready to have another go at it. Dan, this is not something that is going to happen overnight. Just keep an eye on the boards. The more people the better.

Hi Rope, good to hear from you. When I was out at CI about a month ago Steve and Mike were already thinking about a BBQ herf in a near by park. Apparently there was some issue about permits and such. You know so we can have coolers full of root BEER, and birch BEER, well you get the picture. At least the thought process has begun. Of course I'm in and I'm sure the same guy who rode with me the last time will also be there. Don't know what time frame you're thinking but I'm free just about every Saturday from now through August except for 5/24, June 7 and June 14. Of course I don't mean to imply this should be planed for me, only giving you an idea for a head count. WHOOOOOOOOPEEE. Hey Low, I'll bring you a pack of matches.

Qball, I was thinking just about everyone that was there last time will be coming again. Maybe I am assuming the wrong thing. Wouldn't be the 1st time I was wrong and certainly will not be the last time. The BBQ idea was right on line. We could all bring something to add to the meal. I will contact Mike and see what they are doing. By the way have you heard about a web page I started, www.lvherfers.com . Check it out.

I'm originally from that area and get back there every so often (still have family there). If I'm in the area, I'd love to attend. I should be back there May 9th - 11th and probably again later in the summer.

Robe, just went to your web site, and I love it. I didn't have a lot of time to spend, getting ready to go out of town on business for a week, but when I do I'll try to contribute something pithy. And yes, I would guess everyone who was at the last herf should probably be back. Whats not to like. Good gars + good company = good time.

OK guys here we go,

There is a park open on either June 14th or 15th. The charge is $50 for the use of the pavilion and grill setup. Everyone that is coming for sure which day is going to better, we need to know. After we get this detail worked out then we can concentrate on other things. Please respond to this ASAP. Thanks

What do you mean "wait on everyone else"... I said I'm OK for the 21nd.... That's all that matters!!! Once everyone knows I'll be there, Bethlehem will be grid-locked with people coming to herf with ME !!!
The park may not be big enough !!! This could be Low-stock !!! Bring sleeping bags !!!

Hi guy's, sorry it took me so long to get here. I'm traveling and haveing trouble getting online. My laptop is configured for cable and being the dimwit I am I'm having trouble getting it to talk right. Anyway, the 21st, or for Low the 21rd is best for me, but I will do the 22nd if necessary. In either case, you can't keep me away. BTW Trish, if you didn't give Steve a fat lip, you should have.

I don't know what her definition of a fat lip is...but my lip was definitely 'larger' than normal when I went home that day.

Speaking of whine, get any matches lately? ;)

Yeah something like that...is it a definite go for the 21st of June?

I wish the CA guys could come!

NO MATCHES !!! :o(

Has the park been reserved? Cool !!!

I guess as it gets closer, we can decide on who wants to bring what, so we don't end up with 150 hotdogs, 8 buns,1 bag of chips and 3 six packs... LOL

The more the merrier!!

When the location and date are set, can someone email me the directions? That is if Ohio-ans are permitted to attend. Will be visiting a buddy's new house and kid in NJ about that time any.

I think the same agenda should be followed again. Meet at one place(you know where), then go to the other place(you know where), then to the park for herfin', drinking and eating !!!

How does that sound?? Unless Mike, Trish and Steve have better plans for us??? Oh, I'm sorry... Ropeman is calling the shots... like the last herf !!

Sorry Rope,

Lowman ,

You need to start drinking Decaf. Just calm down , stop drooling. I am not sure they want us back at CI again. Last time we were there, I think you walked out with at least one box of the Gurkha pre-embrago's. Oops, I probally wasn't suppose to say anything. If we can get a handful of new guys and CI wouldn't mind giving a little tour again, that would be cool. But we have time to work out the details. I am working on Cigar companies to see what we can get. I know that will make everyone happy. Drew Estate is suppose to be , again.(We know what happened last time) Jon at CAO say's he will happy out with a little present. Tomorrow I am suppose to call Bucanero's about sending us some samples to tryout.
So anyway Lowman, we have plenty of time , right now.

Hi guy's. I'm back from Siberia (that's Washington for Government employees). Did we ever settle on the date for the next herf. As things are shaping up for me, I would like to give a firm vote for the 21st.
