Hey Doc, you need to get some anger management counseling. heaven forbid I should have critisized something that was really important.
You said "I find it amusing that only a few people feel the need to bash this quality product". You must be easily amused. I would be willing to bet that there are hundreds, if not thousands that think Bucs are dog rockets. Not because the're bad, but because everyone has different tastes. That's why they make vanilla and chocolate.
That being said, I don't recall really bashing the product. In fact I said "I would like to be able to tell you something about the construction, which was very nice I admit, or the flavor, but I was so distracted by the draw that I can't think of anything to say." So, let's recap. I think I said the construction and flavor was "very nice", But I was distracted by the draw. What would you have done if I flat out called it a dog rocket. I also believe in a later post I jokeingly told Lowman, who I consider a friend, "Low, only for you will I try one more of these freebooters nightmares." I used the terminology only in keeping with the Buc theme "free·boot·er (fr¶“b›”t…r) n. A person who pillages and plunders, especially a pirate."
I only felt compelled to even comment on this due to the high esteme in which the Buc line is held, almost to the point of veneration. Lest no one forget that after all it is a handmade cigar, and like all things hand made occasionaly it's possible to get one that is blocked. Gasp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I said blocked. NOT OVERHUMIDIFIED. I have had FFOXs, ITs, Ashtons, Cohibas, and any number of other sticks that were blocked. Even Jenifer Lopez gets a pimple now and then.
So Doc, chill. Maybe one day we'll meet and discuss the virtues of consistancy over a FRIENDLY smoke.
