the special dealt with him and his two psychopathic sons and their obsession with sadistic violence. pain and torture for some obscene purpose to satisfy them.
there was a point in the story where some forign pressure to get him to step down for the good of iraq. at a meeting, he asked his advisors what he should do. one of his closest confidants suggest he should give some thought at least. he disappeared that night. the next day the wife of the man who disappeared met with saddam and begged him to return her husband. that night he was returned to her in a body bag, chopped to pieces.
i still don't believe he had any weapons of mass destruction or he would have used them,
but, if i was asked should we go in and get rid of him for the reason that he is or was a madman torturing and killing anyone for any reason, with his son, i believe one of them was killed or died, a raging maniac, i would absolutely and totally agree.
