I've noticed that since the weather has gotten nicer (much nicer) I've been smoking a few more gars (much more). It's nice to step out on the porch after a long day and surf the board with a good gar. Tonight, it was a small habano Romeo (maybe a #3?) machine rolled, but still cuban tobacco. It was good, then off to the dump with some refuse and a Connie, and now finishing the evening with a PAN Principie. Has anyone else increased their intake since the weather has gotten so darn nice? Soon it will be unsufferable here in Georgia so I'm enjoying while I can... Spring and Fall are perfect here.

I've got to agree. Though I usually enjoy a good smoke after late dinner in my basement/smoking lounge while surfing the web, smoking on my front porch in the late afternoon and early mornings are fantastic during this time of the season. This is cigar smoking weather in the north east, and i'm trying to enjoy it to the fullest, especially after a brutal winter we suffered through.

You hit it perfectly. Here in Az. the weather is perfect for a smoke on the patio but summer is on the way! Soon enough I will be able to light up without a match! :~)

I love to sit out on the deck in the morning and evening with a cigar. In the morning, a 5 Vegas (nicely aged for going on 13 months) with a cup of Starbucks house blend. In the evening, a Padron with a glass of Makers Mark.

I think that a lot of other people smoke more in the summer also. The sticks that I can get cheap in the winter, I can't get near in the summer. I am not talking super premiums here, just the good average sticks. I am talking things like Padron 2000 or churchill for 10 dollars a five pack. I can get those regularly in the winter, but they go for way over that price in the summer. Or IT Super Fuerte. Or CAO.

Of course, I have not done a statistical analysis on this, but looking over my records of bids won, there is clearly a trend. Now is it because I am on the computer more in the winter, thus bidding more? I don't think so, but it is possible. Anyone else notice this trend?

I guess living in the SF Bay Area does have its advantages! Good herfing weather about 9 months a year. And the bad months aent tha bad. Smoke about the same amount of sticks no matter what time of year. I guess maybe I would just rather be outside.

Hey Calavera,
Damn son, your right, nothing like a cup a java and 5 Vegas in the AM and a beefy little smoke and a Bourbon to end the day! Is it Sunday yet!

It's always good smoking weather in AZ. It's only "winter" until 10am. Summers are hot but who cares. Work outside early till 9am, then screw off the rest of the day. Can't work at night either 'cause it's still over a 100, but who cares, turn the misters on out on the patio, grab a smoke, something to drink and enjoy!

It is a great time of year to enjoy a smoke here in Ohio. During baseball season I always make sure the travel humidor is full especially for the road trips. I might forget a piece of my son's uniform but never the cigars.

Agreed. My cigar smoking increases three fold when the weather turns nice......

.....and that's right around the corner. Good thing too, all this Seattle weather is making my hands pruny.

I'm in Hot-Lanta (Robby, aka, Griz :-) It's about 75 on the porch tonight, AF UTS in hand. Very nice. Wife and baby are sleeping. Resting up for their first mothers day!

I do smoke more in warm weather, but bought one of those patio fireplaces last year on clearance and now extend my cigar smoking another month or two. They are great little investments for what you get out of them!!!

Ok you hit the nail on the head! I live near the beach in LA and yes last night it was nice to be able to fianlly get outside without the wind and cold and enjoy a Del mundo. The best days are volleyball all day then a few coldys and stoogie on the sand watching the sunset:) it doesn't get any better. Enjoy Rob

I'm with Beatdragon. In the SF Bay area it is nice almost all year. I do increase my smoking a bit more in the summer though.
