Turned into what it is today, Brothers & Sisters of The Leaf messing around and at times sharing great information shared by all. Many have come & gone from posting in the "500" over the years but you still have us group of "diehard posters".

I use the same pillow I have had for years cuz I like them firm but not high. Mine is the closed cell foam type and I even take it on trips iffn we are driving. Just one painful spot in the left back of my neck and massaging seems to help some but I still can't turn my head to the right side.

That happens to me on occasion. Sucks each time.

Coffeed up, dog walked. Deadlifts in the garage and then off to the gym for back and biceps day. Gym doesn't have a trap bar... so I got one. Use it for deadlifts, shrugs and farmer carries. Used it in the gym once, then they told me I can't bring outside equipment in there.

Prolly get a new gym in June when I am up for renewal. We'll see. I don't like that they have no freeweights. Dumbells, machines and a few smith machines. There's a better one closer to me, but it's more expensive. I'll have to see if I can cut some kinda deal or sumpin'.

The gym I go to has about every conceivable apparatus I can think of. Prolly at least three acres inside. Full basketball court, two pools, sauna, whirlpool, 8 rows X 7 weight machines and racks of free weights, dozens of treadmills and steppers, rowing machines, separate arrobics room and bikes both regular and recumbents.

I only use about 10 different stations typically. All free for us Silver Sneakers folks. One of the perks of getting old.

Yeah, no. Unless you have a very, VERY sturdy door frame. I've seen those things really fook up the trim around the frame.

Nope.

All packed up to leave the house around 2am for a 5am f ight to New Jersey. Lakewood, to be more precise.

Visiting my brother and his family until Wednesday. More than enough time for me due to airline rescheduling my flights so that I am spending 4 full days there instead of just 2 full days and two partial days. They are ultra-Orthodox Jews. It is Passover so I have no idea what we will be eating.

He has 5 kids, so I'll never be bored!

Took the boy to two small train museums today. First one was a private collection of train memorabilia. Was pretty neat. Even had boxes of cigars, cigarettes, and pipe tobacco from different train lines. Dried up and in museum display cases of course. Also had a personal luxury car of Henry Flagler's - the railroad dude who put Florida on the map. All Tiffany stained glass windows, hand carved mahogany trimwork. It was really neat.

There is a National Railroad museum in Green Bay (off Rt 32, Ashland Ave) There is also an automobile museum/gallery in Green Bay.

Went there with my Dad a few years ago. Seeing a 79 year old revisit his childhood memories is priceless.

It's on the list. They have a Union Pacific big boy. But it would have to be an overnight trip so we've not done it yet.

Had an almost 5 hr long bonfire tonight. Ended up putting the fire out with water from the creek.

It was pretty big, I'd say 5 ft by 4ft rectangle, 4 1/2 feet tall. It was tapered, and filled with twigs and smaller logs.

The flames were massive the first hr or so. Burned box elder, cucumber magnolia and a small amount of wild cherry.

Been up since 5:41 am. Done for the day, going to bed.

Sounds pretty cool. If I’m being honest, I’m not really into the bonfire and camping stuff anymore. I used to love it. Did you smoke any cigars? Hope you had fun doing it.

Dog walked. Protein shake with spinach, apple and blueberries thrown in.

Nothing on the agenda today... aside from figuring out what I want to eat later. Saw a couple of deer cross the road while on the dog walk. That was cool.

Just one short robusto.

I spent most of the time feeding in tree tops, from all of the trees I cut down last winter, and tending the fire.

It was working fire more than a fun fire. But it was still cool. I relaxed the last hour and a half. That cigar put me to bed. Lol

I think today we're going to mow. There is always something to do at this place.

Morning gents. A 5 mile forced march for me and a 20 mile romp in the Corvette, (Sunday morning roads are the best) a cigar on the patio and now headed to the gym.

Wife told me she had more brisket in da freezer from the last one I smoked. Some of that with a Caesar salad sounds good.

A 2 oz pour of WT 101 and 1 oz of Drambuie on a big cube of ice sounds good, too... just sayin'.
