Flying Pig thanks to raspol. Smoking it right now as a matter of fact. This is a fantastic smoke. For being such a fat little smoke, the burn is flawless and the construction is fantastic. |

An awesome smoke from Lou: Author: jimbud Date: 05/24/2010 08:19 PM Reply 118. Very smooooth 5 vegas limitada 06 (from lou2row -- but remember, no good deed etc....) Loved that smoke. One of the several hitcher's Lou sent me with the blind taste test. (BTW Lou, just won my second lot of la cuna. Great value smoke.) |

#52 Graycliff Gran Cru from C3S First of these I've smoked. Very good cigar, on par with the espresso. Smoked it while firing up the grill to do some shrimp on the barbie. Thanks Ken! |

#54 Tatuaje red band from Whizzy's Xmas in July prize package. The red band are one of the tats I really enjoy. This lancero burned great and had decent flavor throughout. #55 Illusione cg4 from Boiler EMT One of my favorite cigars in the mid price range. Heck, it's one of my faves at any price! Always a good burn, draw, and solid rich flavors. Thanks Lil Sis!! |

#61 casa blanca from Jimbud Been interested in seeing how these are for a while now. Was very impressed with the draw, burn, and construction. Flavors were solid, though strength would be too light for many here. I will watch for these on sale and pick me some more up. A great cigar for on the boat I'd imagine. Thanks for a new cigar Jim! |

#42 glad you enjoyed it TMCTLT. Some of the best cigars I have ever smoked are some that you have gifted me. I smoked the L9, the night before I went back to work. It was fantastic, thanks. AF's were great, every last one of them! I am just getting back to filling humidors. RP's & AB's mostly right now. |

You were missed my friend! #67 Cohiba maduro from Prop First ever and was smooth with great solid flavors. Thanks for the sticks Chuck! #68 Hemi natural from Chazz Though the maduros get all the accolades, the Hemi naturals are a great cigar! Really enjoyed it, and was glad you and Prop made the trip down to herf. Thanks Chazz! |

c3s! An Oliva MB2. Great way to celebrate your birthday, thanks Ken. I see why everyone says these are the best of the three editions. I also got to smoke the first in the line thanks to the aforementioned gentleman. Not only a great smoke, but the presentation on these (etching on the wrapper below the band) is probably the nicest I've ever seen on a cigar. I hope the 3s turn into something close to this over time! |

engletl I broke out a Perdomo Edicion de Silvio Robusto(natural)Brother Todd gifted me 2-3 years back.I've had the maduro and thought it was good but overpriced. This natural blew the maddie away.It reminded me of all the things I love about a well aged Habana. Thank you Brother Todd Ron |

Speak of the devil.... #92 whistlebritches; 301 green band (corona size) First third came on a little coarse, but then it swung to a profile that I can see why Ron enjoys these. Full flavor with nice complexity of wood, earth, nuts, etc. A stick that I would guess ages like a champ. Nice little firecracker that was a good choice coming home after a long day. Thanks Brother! |

#93 Punch Gran Cru Diadema from '07 from knokmdwn. Big fat mild-medium cigar are normally the opposite of my thing but this was pretty nice. Lots of interesting flavors floating around. Plus the cello on this thing was so yellow it looked like what they put on those Perdomo Champagnes. |

#94 Pepin Rolled Padilla 32 Churchill from AR. Very nice smoke, almost a perfect amount of spice. Not sure where I stand on the Pepin vs. Padilla debate, good thing AR sent me plenty to try. |

I have been blessed by the generocity of so many great people on this forum. One of the most memorable was a particular "special"Cohiba from Nirvana. He removed the band and made me smoke it before he would tell me what it was... He knew I would just take it out and look at the damn thing every week if he didn't. It was an amazing smoking experience and taught me a good lesson. Gars are made to be enjoyed and experienced and not just cuddled. lol! Thanks again for a once and a lifetime experience... |

RE 85, I still have some smokes from WES and WT that were gifted to me years ago. I laughed when you said "cuddled" and it made me think that maybe I have been holding on to some of these tooooooo long. 3/4 years or so. I tend to gift any of the good stuff I buy but hang on to the good stuff I'm gifted. |

#108 & 109 El Rey del Mundo lancero from C3S Lit the cigar up and could hardly drag through it. Seemed flavorless. Cut the cigar in half and it smoked awesome with a caramel and cream flavor. So #108 was a petit corona and #109 was the other half!! Great cigar Ken! Don't chuck the plugged ones; cut them and see if it opens them up enough. #110 WOAM from Seaborn Seen this cigar and instantly wondered how my Texas Bro was doing. Decided to burn it and it really hit the spot after a long day. Thank you Mark, and I am going to write you an email as soon as I hit enter. |
