Iffin’ you like them with just a couple months of rest, imagine them with a year or two! At that point, they’re a GREAT sub-$3 cigar! (…well, at least that’s the price I paid for mine 4 years ago, ymmv…)

Gotta think outside the box (…pun intended…) when your hard storage is filled to the brim. A wise man (…i.e., Frankie Tripod…) once posted about putting his excess cigars in Ziplocs with a Boveda and then putting them in a dresser drawer as an alternate overflow solution. From my personal experience, it works fine.

I keep telling myself the same thing about NOT buying more cigars but it's more of a buying slowdown than hiatus.

One of these days I'd like to go a WHOLE month without buying anything. Just one month, please!

So after being told (…don’t wanna incriminate anyone but his initials are MJRburn…) that that place had decent prices on Padrons, I asked my nephew if he was still looking for them. He took a look and found 3 vitolas he wanted so I got some too.

But they were smokes that I’ve been looking to get but only wanted 1 of each. Most places don’t sell singles, or if they do, jack the price up. Decent prices and with the additional 10% off and free shipping, think I got a decent deal. Family Reserve 40th and 45th in both Natural and Maduro. Looking forward to ashing up the 40s to commemorate our 40th anniversary in July and then the 45s five years later.

I bought a box of Padron 40's to celebrate our fortieth anniversary in June 2020...then the pandemic ruined our plans for a big celebration...I've only smoked a couple or a few at a time that year and since, to mark the occasion...with my son and SIL, with MACS and then with MACS and ZRX when they visited on different occasions...

not sure if getting more 45's is in the cards...torched the one I had to celebrate the Rams' Super Bowl victory...wife has seemed to cool to ideas of big gatherings...we'll see when the threat of the virus lifts...
