^you like the fonseca? Smoked one in corona that was overboard peppery. Haven’t tried the thicker ones.
59504. Author: ZRX1200Date: Tue, 1/24/2023, 12:21PM EST
I don’t think the robusto is overly peppery at all but it does have a “Pepin start”.

75039~ Eiroa CBT lancero. GREAT start…halfway through it started burning wonky and went sour. Purged twice and it’s come back somewhat but man that start….paired with a quad vanilla mocha.

First cigar in some time and I regret not smoking the 858 SG in my traveldor.

Yes and no.

Initially had the Robusto and liked it. Herfing

Then, stupidly, against your advice I bought some Coronas and regretted it. d'oh!

I’mma not too keen about the other vitolas in the line so those two will be the extent of my MF Fonseca experience.

The only hope is the Corona needs a little more rest and will start to shine next time I spark one up.

Palama 😂 yeah that sucker I had was sharp. I finished but it was more of a I’ll be glad when I’m done type deal. It was fresh from that year so no idea what time will do. I like almost every other my father cigar. I was shocked at that one. Seems that’s the nature of them if yours was also that way. Maybe they need a year. Or three

I don’t mind a rugged start if they fall into a great cigar 601 green sorta popped in my
Mind on that one.

I've only smoked 3 of the Robustos. The first came from SirKnight but think it was over a year old. Then I smoked one that had only 4 months of rest, it was a little peppery so in my notes, I thought a bit more time would help. With about 1-1/2 years of humi time, last nights cigar had toned down so I think there's hope for the Cosacos.

The La Nox is obviously an internet cigar. You should return it to where you got it from and tell them “Do you know who I am?”

You mean: it was the most amazing, most mind-bending airball you've ever smoked. That long-time smokers have to rub one out before they reach the end of it because it's so incredible. UNESCO is going to name it a World Heritage Airball ...

So true! Also, "it's guaranteed to sell out so get them while you can!"

Although right now one of my favorite smoke is one of theirs....

^ Oh yeah! I love their stuff. Almost everything I've tried. One of my favorite brands. I'm looking forward to the Blending Session stuff you sent, but you said they might need some rest, so I've been holding off.
59532. Author: Stogie1020Date: Thu, 1/26/2023, 3:27PM EST
So far, I have not been as impressed as I had hoped with the blending sessions, but I can't tell you which to avoid since none of them have a band on them. It was also really cold and windy last night, so maybe that contributed to the burn issues, but I am hoping at least one of the five pack is a fuller strngth cigar...

I have smoked a handful (mostly Lee's fault) and while I don't remember most, the recent Sweet Emotion was great and the 9 year anniversary was simply outstanding imo.

That's the thing, though. It's pretty much hit or miss at (usually) full cost and by the time I rest the smokes and then smoke a few to decide I like them, they are hard to find.

I can buy pledge prequel, lfd, mf all day, so I don't chase too many EZ blends, but I do appreciate how aged most of their tobacco is.

Interesting, thanks. Honestly, it was a pretty windy night so I don't know if the roll really had any impact, plus I think my critique of the smoke was unduly influenced by the lack of strength/body annoying me.
