Really enjoyed this cigar. This was from the sampler of 8 I bought last March. The Maduro Ligero was just ok to me but I liked this one. Read some bad reviews on this cigar, so I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. Not sure how they are rott or after two weeks but can say that it's a good cigar at the year mark. |

Last week a won an Oliva 20 cigar sampler for under $2 ea. Haven't had these in several years. Today I smoked one of each.
48753- Oliva Connecticut Reserve - very nice, excellent construction. Excellent Connie.
48754 - Oliva "G" - Harsh for a Cameroon. Loosely rolled. Short burn.
48754 - Oliva "O" - Top end construction, nice flavor, great burn.
48755 - Oliva Saison - 2009 Crop. Another well made, slow burning cigar with great flavors.

48767 - Illusione HL - started out smooth but one dimensional, but as I hit the last third it turned into a spice bomb. Tasted like there was a Ghost pepper in the end of it. Holy burn! Loved it! |
