Jack White~ Blunderbuss
inspired by recent posts.

I like the songs, but could see why some underrate this album as White doesn't ever really break away.

but, I like it this effort.

Jesus Christ Superstar
"Live" on NBC.
I thought John Legend did a really good job, considering he doesn't have a classic "stage voice".
Judas put on the best performance.

Whitford / St. Holmes

Was never a 'great' album....still isn't....but I have always had a soft spot for it. For one, the music is catchy - accessible and easy on the ears. For another, I appreciate that the artists spent the height of their music careers deep in others' shadows; Brad Whitford, as one of Aerosmith's LI3 (The Less Important Three) and Derek St. Holmes, whose voice was mistaken as Ted Nugent's for...ever.

That was pretty awesome.

I don't know who John Legend is.
But Judas was phenomenal.
And that Sarah chick was very good as well.

And of course, Uncle Alice played Herod to a tee.
