Nice! Not sure that I've heard that.
I see that Amazon has the CD for $26....BUT...it says I can stream free with Prime---didn't even know that Prime came with audio streaming. I am going to look into that.

In 1980, I cassette recorded King Biscuit broadcast of Marshall Tucker just months after Tommy Caldwell's accident. I wore that tape out. They were so good live....I can still hear that flute in my head - from Own Way....years later

Mix disc of late 70s and early 80s pop-rock

Softer stuff that I typically don’t reach for but catchy tunes, some with great guitar work.

Weezer's cover of Africa.....not sure why....curious, I guess....just hoped there'd be something slightly edgy or sarcastic about it....there isn't - it's totally faithful to the '82 Toto saccharine version....sad

Raphael Saadiq - Stone Rollin

If you like Motown...give it a spin. James Brown meets Bruno Mars...with better music.

A very laidback album, not one that I listen to very often but it definitely creates a mellow mood.

Until I find some TWilliams:

SRV & Double Trouble - May 2, 1990 - The Civic Center, Oklahoma City, OK

So sad to think that 3 months later he would be killed in that helicopter crash.

I'll definitely check it out.

Hendrix...Miles...and Paul McCartney...can you just imagine what that would've sounded like???

Hendrix sent a telegram so he already had Miles...Paul never got it though because he was on holiday in Scotland.

I seem to recall T.Williams grew up in Dorchester and did a lot o fstuff as a teen...that could be a false positive memory though.

The name popped in my head when DMV mentioned Cobham with McLaughlin , and the lack of appreciation for the drummer

I may have been wrong about a Tony Williams Lifetime album called Play It Loud...now I'm thinking those words were written on the label in the middle of the LP...will have to find the album, buried in the closet, to get the real name.
