Got this as a gift from either Burnem or BGZ, one of you sent me a double edmundo and the other sent the 2 but I got mixed up which one. Nicest looking wrapper I have seen on a Monte in my possession. Oily and dark but just like all the others the first half of the cigar had low smoke output and it wasn't plugged. Was way better smoke production in the second half and was pretty good after that. Thank you for the cigar, keep wanting to like these because everyone seems to but so far they can't pass Dips on my list of future purchases. |

Smoked a Vegas Robaina Classico from 2000 (at work now don't have the box code) from when Buckwheat bombed me when I was a super noob (now I'm just a normal run of the mill noob).
I don't think I ever would have smoked it, except for I was checking out my cigars, and noticed some white mold on the cap area (no, that ch1t is not plume, lol).
Anyway, looked at the surrounding cigars, no mold, so I said, I guess it's time.
Wiped it off, gave it a chop... was a little on the plugged side, so ran the draw poker through it, and fired it up. Had to work it for a few, but once it started smoking well, the flavors started booming.
I wasn't expecting to particularly like it, because other ancient smokes I've had have been too mild for my liking, but this one, despite it's lack of strength had excellent flavor.
It was an amazing smoke, and earned a spot on my all time list.
