How was that DFH Burner? I always avoid the brews that use spruce tips because I associate the taste with pine and I hate Eagle Rare because of that pine taste and expect to not like beers if they have that taste to.

This is the second time that I have tried it and really enjoyed both. If the fact that spruce tips were used was not printed on the label, I don't think I would have known. I have had some holiday brews that tasted like you were drinking a spruce tree rather than a brew. The DFH is nothing like that and I would recommend it. |

DED, sorry....it was good. I LOVE Black Butte Porter on nitro. The Abyss was good but the light foam never went away so it was just a different experience. As far as this year's release flavors were great not one aspect overdone. |
