Weiner Wept....

Anthony Weiner sentenced to 21 months in prison
Former congressman pleaded guilty to sexting with 15-year-old girl

Disgraced former Rep. Anthony Weiner was sentenced Monday to 21 months in prison, facing the most severe penalty yet in connection with the sexting scandal that drove the New York Democrat out of Congress, ruined his marriage and became a late issue in the 2016 presidential race.

U.S. District Judge Denise L. Cote issued the sentence in federal court in New York.

“This is a serious crime that deserves serious punishment,” Cote said in a statement.

The former lawmaker's sexting habits entered criminal territory with his illicit contact with a 15-year-old girl. Weiner, 53, had pleaded guilty in May to sending sexually explicit texts to the girl across state lines. Weiner agreed not to appeal any sentence between 21 and 27 months in prison.

Weiner openly wept in court on Monday as the judge announced the sentence. In addition to the prison term, he was sentenced to three years of supervised release, given a $10,000 fine, and required to forfeit his iPhone. Weiner must surrender on Nov. 6 to a yet-to-be determined prison facility.

He will go to the federal "country club" FACILITY
In LEWISBURG, PA...

Called...

ALLENWOOD...

In the low level SEQUESTERED AND SEPERATE area...

No Way will he be let loose into the general
Main BIG OFFENDERS AREA...

THEY WOULD EAT HIM ALIVE ON THE FIRST DAY,
THEN GANG RAPE HIM FOR 7 days straight...
Then slit his throat...
With absolutely no remorse or feelings of guilt...

Nope. He'll be placed in protective custody. Likely kept alone so he doesn't get his face kicked in.

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, who reported to prison this week to begin a 21-month sentence for sexting with a 15-year-old girl, is hoping to stay in contact with the outside world.

Weiner’s away message on his personal email addresses provide specific instructions on how to stay in contact with the disgraced Congressman, the New York Post reported Thursday.

“Thanks for reaching out,” the message says. “Starting November 6th, I’ll be away for a while but I would love to stay in touch. As quaint as it may sound, the best way to reach me is by sending a letter. When you write, ill get you the information about how email might work.

The FBI has found thousands of Huma Abedin files on ex-husband Anthony Weiner's confiscated laptop. How could these files impact the Clinton email probe? #TuckerVideo

“So please include your full mailing address here and of course include it when you write,” Weiner says in the message. “And although you didn’t ask — yes, you may send me books via Amazon. (No crockpots or washers/dryers though)”

Weiner then provides information on how to contact him via the “Federal Medical Center” in Massachusetts.

Weiner, whose political career and later run for New York City mayor was derailed because of continuous sexting incidents — sometimes under a “Carlos Danger” pseudonym — was sentenced in September after he pleaded guilty in May to a charge of transmitting sexual material to a minor.

Drafter, there have already been multiple GOP elected officials that have said they would vote for him over a Democrat even if he had sex with a 14 year old. Don’t overestimate the Alabama electorate.

That said, while I certainly am not a fan of Moore, I do hope the allegations are untrue.

I don’t disagree. I’ve seen some people that know 1 of the 4 accusers interviews, and it was compelling, but I’m cynical enough to suspect either side of subterfuge. It won’t impact my vote either way.

Read the WAPO article. Detailed statements about incidents with Moore and the 14 year old and three other women who were teenagers at the time, all corroborated by multiple witnesses (family members and friends) who were informed of Moore's behavior with these girls contemporaneously. If the conspiracy theorists are right, this would be an unbelievably elaborate hoax...

No, the victim has an option, perhaps the parents in the case of the minor, to report. There are now mandates in many states that require professionals who become aware of such abuses: nurses, teachers, social workers, to report. Not then. But not the victim.

There are so many social considerations that confront a victim: familial, threat of retaliation, loss of support, loss of standing in society, loss of employment or loss of employment opportunities, presumption of lack of morals (am I the slutty person at fault here?), etc. That's why many people believe rape and sex crimes are a largely under-reported phenomenon, especially when perpetrated by a well-known and respected man.

warning: non political statement coming

it's pretty well known that victims of sexual assault, whether underage or over the age of consent, commonly suffer stuff the rest of us think impossible when victimized.

Shame, guilt, etc. And so many head straight home and cry in the shower, which washes away the best evidence in many cases.

Many victims are selected by crafty sexual deviants who shop around for prey likely to feel ashamed after the (f)act, and are therefore less likely to step up with courage and accuse right away.

Some eventually kill themselves. some eventually rally enough strength (therapy?) to speak up, some become liberated after seeing others speak up about the same predator...yup, even years later.

It's more likely that victims of random sexual attacks, stuff like a guy in the park who jumps out with a knife, will fight back and/or go straight to the police with descriptions and DNA evidence. But those rapists aren't clever relationship/trust builders. They are psychos that act on impulses that control them, sudden violent sex is what they crave, key word violence. They are not setting up the target. They hit randomly.

Coincidence that the juvenile victims are often related to or are family friends of the deviant? Nope.

Kidding aside I am very concerned about false accusations in these cases, especially with children. It seems the accused are considered guilty until they can prove innocence. That truly bothers me.
