Trump lives rent free in your head and there is nothing you can do about it. You feed daily on propaganda, work yourself into an emotional frenzy, and then spew your anger everywhere. You are so insecure in your own beliefs that you then must personally attack anyone here who dares to disagree with you, calling them stupid, or asking if they ate paint chips as a child. It must be such a sad, sad life, being so consumed by hate.

On a side note, if you don't believe that President Obama called and congratulated Putin when he won in 2012, you are too naive and partisan to even attempt a conversation with. In fact Putin called and congratulated Obama on his re-election. Must prove some Obama/Putin conspiracy, right? No, it's just what Heads of States do.

I love my country and hate what the orange a-hole is doing to it.

As far as Obama's call to Poot Poot, could you find a legitimate news source to confirm your statement?

It appears that you get your "news" from alt-right sites, seeing that they are the only "news" sites making this claim.

(CNSNews.com) - From the office of President Barack Obama's press secretary on March 9, 2012: "President Obama called Russian President-elect and Prime Minister Putin to congratulate him on his recent victory in the Russian Presidential election."

That announcement from the Obama White House produced none of the outrage and fury that greeted President Trump's similar announcement on Tuesday:

"I had a call with President Putin, and congratulated him on the victory, his electoral victory," President Trump told reporters at a White House photo-op. "We had a very good call, and I suspect that we'll probably be meeting in the not-too-distant future to discuss the arms race, which is getting out of control," Trump said.

Here's the summary published by the Obama White House of President Obama's 2012 post-election call to Putin:

President Obama called Russian President-elect and Prime Minister Putin to congratulate him on his recent victory in the Russian Presidential election.

President Obama highlighted achievements in U.S.-Russia relations over the past three years with President Medvedev, including cooperation on Afghanistan, the conclusion and ratification of the START agreement, Russia’s recent invitation to join the World Trade Organization (WTO) and cooperation on Iran.

President Obama and President-Elect Putin agreed that the successful reset in relations should be built upon during the coming years. The President said that he looked forward to hosting President-Elect Putin at the G-8 Summit in May at Camp David.

The two leaders outlined areas for future cooperation, including strengthening trade and investment relations arising out of Russia’s pending accession to the WTO. President Obama and President-Elect Putin agreed to continue discussions on areas where the United States and Russia have differed, including Syria and missile defense. President Obama and President-Elect Putin agreed to continue their efforts to find common ground and remove obstacles to better relations.

I don't think it was different other than the whole attack on our election thing, the recent poisoning, and the position we told our allies we would take. But that's nothing but context.

Bush was wrong looking in to Putin's dreamy eyes and seeing his soul. Obama was wrong as mentioned above (although I think the intent is to say Trump is cool and stuff which is weird because that is not what was said by republicans at the time). Trump was wrong here.

I know the habit is to point at something Obama did wrong and hold that out as an excuse for Trump to do something wrong. It's a very strange thing especially from folks that bagged on Obama bowing while ignoring Bush doing so. If it's wrong with one it's wrong with both. If it's ok with one it's ok with both.

Seems to be a difficult concept for some.

Trumps version of america first reminds me of the liberals version of we are the government, we are here to help you. Nice words though.

It amazes me such a known individual, who is all about himself, has snowed so many people in to thinking he cares about the little guy, cares about them, or cares about america (while his own actions and businesses show the opposite).

I understand the but hillary stuff, and get it. I couldn't vote for her either. But the weird gyrations are something else.

I liked this:
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ), Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, released the following statement today on President Trump congratulating Vladimir Putin on his “election” victory:

“An American president does not lead the Free World by congratulating dictators on winning sham elections. And by doing so with Vladimir Putin, President Trump insulted every Russian citizen who was denied the right to vote in a free and fair election to determine their country's future, including the countless Russian patriots who have risked so much to protest and resist Putin's regime."

Not really concerned about Obama's 2012 call or Trump's call. Just part of doing business. I am concerned about the leak of the call, as well as other leaks. Just maybe they can track this one down.

Just when you thought I was letting Obama off of the hook.

Lets not forget Obama's hot mic moment, "more flexibility" to negotiate, referring to Russia and Putin after the election.

And the Obama to Romney, "Russia is not a threat."

I wonder where all the outrage was in 2012.

Huh. Teedubbya sure loves him some obammy.

I’ve been bitching about putin since windy mcflightsuit and didn’t developed any love for him during obammys time. I can remember the day I figured out who putin was and why we should not trust him. It was on a flight to Cleveland and I was reading a book about him. Can’t rememb the title at the moment and have read a few more since. So there’s that.

Maybe he’s become nicer since then though.

Windy was wrong
Bammy was wrong
Trump is wrong, and something weird is going on.

I was curious about that yesterday, too. But, I took a couple minutes to search for coverage and found nothing other than pretty straight up reporting of it....doesn't seem as though anyone there lost their minds over it.

I couldn't really care much less about the call. Diplomacy takes lots of forms and requires a ton of words and actions that are unsupportable out of context.

I have a little trouble with Trump's apparent reluctance to call Putin/Russia out on actual serious crap like Syrian involvement, usurping Ukraine and completely unjustifiable annexation of Crimea. I don't know what that's about.

I do think the leak was abhorrent, if not criminal....someone should be fired immediately.

As to the assassination attempts....I don't know all the details. But, on the surface, I'm not sure how troubled I am. Probably indelicate do try it on British soil, but the target(s) were Russian traitors, weren't they? A nice, quiet accidental death wouldn't transmit their 'message' to other potential traitors. Maybe there's a lot more to the story, but spies that get caught have a short life-span, and that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.
