Just watch any of the 2-3 "GOLD RUSH" TV SHOWS on Discovery and TLC...
Those stupid BASTIDS just RAPE THE LAND, DIG MASSIVE HOLES, PUMP CREAK WATER AND SPRAY THE BANKS APPART...THE streams run brown with dirt and sludge...
No way can trout or salmon or grayling live in that kind of water...WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD GIVE PERMITS TO THOSE A-HOLES TO RUIN THE ENVIROMENT AND KILL NATIVE FISHERIES "AT WILL"...

Obama put the brakes on that project with some specific regulations and it appeared dead in the water, so the Canadian partner who was lobbying hard for it eventually pulled out. Then Trump got elected...appointed Pruitt, who never saw an oil, gas or mining project he didn't like...and here we are. |
