It's not "breaking news" when you've been reporting it, hour after hour, day after day, for a week. It's like a "Going out of business" sale that's been going on for 23 years. Stop it. Stop it now. Seriously, they take even the most trivial things, treat it like aliens have invaded from another planet, switch anchors and panelists, and keep treating it like it has just happened.

Breaking news, News Alert, etc , etc. They all do it. It's like grade inflation in schools. You now need a 6.0 average to impress anyone.
