Mooch Madness ll
1. Author: MandomanDate: Fri, 8/9/2019, 1:50PM EST
Last April, 'bro and I did a home & home series of moochiness, known as Mooch Madness.
Well, we decided to do it again. I'll be heading north to Maine in a few weeks to mooch off him for a few days, then he'll return the favor by journeying south to mooch off me.
If yer interested, stop by and join the fun.
Oh, Maine - 9 Sep for a fistful of cigars
Virginia - 16 Sep for a few cigars more

Looks like I'll be in Maine just after you head south.

Sounds like a good time. But Maine? "You can't get there from here."

It can't be that hard to get here. All those guys trying to contact me about my car warranty are able to find me.

I’ve always wanted to journey to Maine.
I spend a good deal of time in the UP MI.
They say the remote beauty is similar

Hell, I had to bring along a navigator that said he fished a lake around there.

if you have a phone, internet or mailbox they will find you.

Jehova's Witnesses are another group that don't have any trouble finding me

They bought the address lists from some Mormon missionaries.

Mighty nice of you to offer. I'll stop by Maine on my way to Neptune. Just a 3000 mile from where I'm sitting. Neptune is just a bit further.

BTW, looking forward to the next Stephen King book when he reads this. Two brothers, mooching in the woods, and some orange-colored shellacked alien with an enormous gut and ties that hang down to his knees was ditched there by someone known as "The Secret Service" after they got sick of listening to him. He's hungry and needs to feed, and when he can't find a KFC, he's going to start hallucinating that your legs are drumsticks, and...well, it gets worse from there.

Call my agent. Add some bald dudes and car chases, and we've got Fast & Furious: Deliverance Edition.

Well, me and bro are going bald and I have a car. We're more like "Slow & Somnolent: Watching the Grass Grow Edition"

Will there be any free food and free liquor with the free cigars?
And maybe some $$$ for a hotel?

Got lotsa oatmeal and MD 20/20. Plenty of free parking and I'm sure that you can find spot on the lawn to camp out.
18. Author: tonygrazDate: Mon, 8/19/2019, 8:21PM EST
It's a very nice lawn.

#14, 15 Sounds like you guys are a lot of fun. Move to the left coast so we can hang out. We can sit on my patio, light some good smokes and heckle golfers. Plus, best weed store around is just a mile down the street. We can go in on a Sunday, and I'll get us a 10% senior discount (55 or older, and I am 55). As for bigfoot, however, we have to avoid the deep woods here. I wear a size 14 shoe, and once in a while, the locals start tracking, thinking they are on the trail of Sasquatch.

#16 What, no mint for the pillow? Pro tip from a veteran of the criminal justice system (lawyer, not defendant), if someone invites you to the woods for free cigars, free booze, free food and money for a hotel, they aren't interested in your company. They are probably more interested in things like duct tape, your bodily orifices, and taking you somewhere where no one can hear you scream. Not these guys, just in general.

I call my place "Space" because "In Space, no one can hear you scream."

Yep, food and liquor free. But ya gotta rent the plates, utensils, and glasses.
Free cigars? All the Dutch Masters you can smoke 💨! That is until we run out.

So what are you trying to say?

#20 LMAO. I suppose that's one drawback to living on a golf course. Damned witnesses are always around.

#22 That you got a real purty mouth..
24. Author: MandobroDate: Thu, 8/22/2019, 1:28PM EST
Well, in Space (#21) we can't heckle golfers, but we can shoot gophers.

Won't they give you the chair for that?

Not sure about giving you the chair, but they may let you borrow it for a few milliseconds.
27. Author: MandobroDate: Mon, 8/26/2019, 9:41AM EST
Just got back from the gas station with a bunch of Dutch Masters and, for the connoisseurs among you, some El Productos, which are aging nicely on top of the refrigerator. The chairs are all plugged in and charging up. Sorry, all the gophers have been shot, but they've been prepped and are ready for the grill. The valets are on strike so you'll have to park your own car. Still plenty of lawn space, but you might want to make a reservation.

Mooch Madness II in two weeks.

#27 Pineapple White Owls? If you didn't get PWO, you just wasted a trip to the store and some money.

Well, the cat found the WOPs and peed on them. I'll hang them out for a coupla days, they'll be fine for Christmas.

Step daughter had to detour around downed trees on way into work down there today...step-son is home from school. Glad it isn't as bad as it could have been, but there's going to be some hit hard close by you

Well, it rained, the wind blew. For us, it was no worse than a nor'easter.
