Well, original plan was an SP-01, but then I made a mistake and shot the upgraded version. After that I figured savings account may as well be shot too

I'm just glad to hear that you are off all those meds!!!

I take so damn many, I will likely have my life shortened by Lord knows how long.

A month of Eliquis is over $ 500 w/o insurance.
1211. Author: teedubbyaDate: Fri, 1/17/2020, 8:48AM EST
Yea the eliquis.... perfect example of the rich getting richer in our he system.

I have insurance. When I picked it up last month I paid $60 and there was a note saying there was an internet coupon. I figured they had applied it.

I looked further. If you go to the eliquis website you can sign up for a program where they cover the copay. Thus next month I would have paid nothing. I should have paid nothing last month.

But if you have no insurance no coupon. I had the same experience with Epipens. Pisses me off.

Drunk is drunk on only 4 beers.

One was 32 oz at 12%. The other three were 24 oz at 8%. Just want to be able to tell doc I only had 4 beers.

Plus how made pizza, pound cake and ice cream. My gas level is gonna be more deadly then saddens wmds.

I love when the Eliquis rep comes by peddling his wares.

Always brings the best food. If in the morning, it's usually all the things from Cracker Barrel. Lunch has been pizza or Italian beef.

But yeah, chits expensive

Edit: the Xarelto rep brings the good food. The Eliquis rep just brings coupons for us to give to patients.

Winter storm warning for our county. Weather guy on TV says around 2 PM it should start snowing. Still 5+" predicted.

Why do they call it 'pound cake'..?? Think
1230. Author: teedubbyaDate: Sat, 1/18/2020, 10:21AM EST
I pounded it down.

Farted all night. Wife left the room lol. Louie dog didn’t seem to mind though.

Haven't verified accuracy, but the story I heard was originally the recipe called for a pound of sugar, pound of butter, pound of flour, etc.
1232. Author: danmdevriesDate: Sat, 1/18/2020, 10:28AM EST
I liked the tw version better. Seemed more intimate. Sobs is more distanced, clinical, analytical.

Cake is a thing of passion. Needs to pull your heartstrings. Tdub's rendering brought me to my gotdamn knees. You're my boy blue!

Driving freedom, missed gun show last week = road trip. Just me. Gun show in Topeka. Taking a growler for the free state brewery. Good times will be had by all. I’m going alone so that means me.

Just be safe, Brother!

HELL, you're in much better shape than me! Like Ron said, I wish I was down to just a coupe of pills a day!!!! My list is around 10+ drugs long, but then, that beats the alternative, at least I'm still above ground.

EXACTLY!!! You see it first hand, I'm glad my regular DR. is pretty good about trying to help, such is life!

My MIL is 94 years old and has been fighting Crohn's disease for 20-30 years. She's on Pentasa, 4 in the AM, 4 in the PM, her monthly bill would be around $1200/month, thank goodness for those "low cost/free" programs, but they always require some serious amount of hassle and paperwork, generally every year.

I won't EVEN get into my prescription situation, and now BC/BS of TN has passed us off on Express Scripts, talk about some cons!!!! Thank the Lord, her company has a non-profit corporate Pharmacy in Nashville, or I don't know what I would do about my situation.

My wife has BC/BS of Texas through her work. These bastids have a new gimmick maybe others are experiencing. When you get a script they offer only name brand pharmaceuticals.Say 90 days is $200 but before filling the script they are requiring the pharmacy to contact you and explain that BC/BS will only pay for the name brand but if you wish you can buy a generic for say $60.Of course BC/BS is out squat if you go this route. Not to mention BC/BS owes our local hospital roughly $10 mil in unpaid claims.Lawsuit has been going on for a year or so.Hoping the County changes med insurance this fall...….I know a lot of the employees along with my wife are lobbying for a change.

Brother, trust me, BC/BS has FAR TOO Much lobbying power in EVERY State where they operate!

And coffee. When I was stationed in Long Beach, one of the FC's was a private pilot. We would fly out to this little airport at least once a week to get pie and coffee. That lady made the best damn pies I've ever had. A damned fine pot of coffee to boot. And we weren't the only ones doing it either. She had a following. ThumpUp
