These viral posts that claim a nefarious switcharoo/sleight of hand also fail to mention that the page states that “[d]rug information provided by: Merative, Micromedex®” and that the medicine “should only be used for COVID-19 in a hospital or during clinical trials.”

While certainly a nuance, it completely ignores the reaction many had to people "injecting horse tranquilizer!!!" OMG!!

In effect, what this means (clinical setting or not) is that the drug is an effective treatment for C19. I mean, Mayo feels it appropriate to use it in their hospital to treat C19, right? See any apologies from all the deniers? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
