Only because something of that nature (false statements desparaging to conservatives) has yet to be posted here. (If one has and I missed it, please point it out and I will be happy to research it.) The majority of veiwpoints on this forum are "right of center", therefor I believe the majority of these kind of false statements reflect a conservative viewpoint. I freely admit that I am more likely to support a liberal viewpoint then a conservative one however I will allways support the truth over either. I dislike misinformation. I particularly despise rumors deliberatly floated to discredit an individual. When I see it, I call it.
I do not believe that Hillary Clinton is a saint nor do I believe that she is the anti-christ that she is so often portrayed as. I see her as a politician and IMHO like most all politicians she will do what is best for her career, her party and the people who fund her campaigns. (This makes her no differant in my book from Bush, Gore, Cheney, Leiberman, Reagan, LBJ, Nixon etc, etc.......)
The reason I referance Snopes so much is the fact that they actually research this stuff and provide citations. I don't believe that they have a political ax to grind.
Like I have said before, I prefer the truth. When I suspect BS, I will check into it to my own satisfaction and post the results here. If you think I have it wrong, feel free to challange it.
Once again, if you see something posted desparaging to Bush etc and you think it BS, Give me a heads up and I will happily research it.
