Smokin the CAO. Lit it up after a client meeting at Starbucks, drove to the Cigar shop to pick up some essentials, drove home, still working on it in my home office.

I ran across some of the AF Cuban Belicosos and rather enjoyed it. The taste was wonderful! Although, I do think that it had too much of a cedar odor to it.

I have three left sitting in the humidor geting some age on them. I took the cedar wrap off to see if it would mellow out and lose a little of the cedar odor.

O.K. Partial Report.

Found The Pedron peppery and medium bodied. Burnt awesome. Got stronger as I puffed. I did like. Would buy if a good deal were to be had. Would smoke again.

The CAO was Pretty Good, better aroma, but not as tasty, but for some reason I enjoyed smoking it more. The CAO beats the Pedron half way down. Would smoke again.

Fuente Cuban Belicoso. Ahhhhh. Nice smoke, up there with an ISOM. As a mater of fact, first smoke to beat out the many ISOM's I've smoked. Finally I concede. It is however milder than a lot of ISOM's, But shares that floral aroma and natural sweet taste. Would smoke this one regularly. Still puffing on it as I write.

Tomorrow evening I will Challenge the La Perla Habana, I was Planing to sipp some Crown Royal with it. What would your suggestion be?

I would say to try a good single malt with the black pearl, or a good porter/stout/doppelbock beer. But smoke it for a bit before you start drinking so you can taste the unadulterated flavor. I'm also jaded because I am not a canadian whisky fan, so crown doesn't do it for me...

I like Wieser's or Gibson’s better than Crown, but that is what the inlaws have stocked. I will drink a few pints of Guinness with the black pearl. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm now past the band on that Fuente and close to the point of euphoria. I didn't make it that far on the others, but wow that fuente. I just might have to light up the Exodus.
