Martini,while I am a bit of a cigar pimp and do a lot of buying from the CI website and CBid,what I'm doing today is pimping the Newbie Sampler Trade Thread on H.P. for the benefit of new guys and their wallets.It's open to anyone who registers,and you can do the trade more than once.Since we're not selling anything and H.P. is a cigar smoker funded site,not competition to CI,I don't think I'm stepping on any toes.If I am,just delete me,no hard feelings.

go to herfersparadise dot com and from the home page go to 'Box Passes/Trades' and read the Newbie Sampler Trade Thread.Page #1 and the last couple current pages are enough.Two points I need to clear up,first,you don't have to be new to cigars to participate.Second,the amount your side of the trade will cost is up to you.And you can play more than once.

I don't know who invented the NSTT.It has existed since before the demise of another vendors' BB,and continues three years later.I have participated on both sides and have had a great time.A quick desciption of how the Trade Thread works is like this:

I want a box of the new LVH maduros.They cost whatever.The New player sends me that box.I bomb the snot out of him,often after asking what he's has been wanting to try and what he likes.New player gets his cigars,posts comments like 'Oh my God,those guys are nuts'.

And I will warn you all,there are some serious Monsters in the FOG line-up.Be quick if you recognize some of them by name or prior trade you were too slow to grab.Also,I think this Trade IS great for New smokers,if you want to give a friend an education in various wrappers,blends,sizes,or just how to be a class act,do the deal as a gift for someone.

Ok,you spent $40 or so on five-packs last month.Got to try,what,five or six brands? Geez,you guys aren't too interested in variety,are you? I'm not speaking for other FOGs on the NSTT,but you'd have had,oh,twenty different cigars if you'd done my trade.And if you spent more you'd have some of the hard-to-find and out of production cigars I'm hoarding.

But you are better off,skipping trading with me.There are compulsive collectors who keep stashes of multiple thousands of cigars coming up in the FOG rotation.I won't say who.You'll know if you watch the thread.See whose deal I snatch five minutes after it's posted.But there are more than one of these Monsters and I can't take all their generous offers,can I? Maybeeeeeeeeeeee.
But that would be wrong,hogging all the primos that I know you would all enjoy.

Try it.If you don't care for the manly-man cigars you'll do well when you trade them off.
