If the photo is a fake, it sure has fooled a lot of people. Seeing as all the major news sources are using it. Also, with all the controversy being spread by the likes of Rick and other left wingers over the so called "fake turkey", if the photo was a fake I am sure that would have come out by now. If you follow the last link below there is a simular photo taken either just before or after the one above.

It's too bad how GWB is treated.

If he does something his opposition dislikes, he gets ripped(understandable). If he does something compassionate he gets ripped(it's a publicity stunt). If he liberates a country he gets ripped. If the economy improves, his opposition looks at one lagging sector(unemployment), then claims he's unsuccessfull, and gets ripped. It's not fair.

What stunt would that be jdrabinski???? Having Thanksgiving dinner with the troops was a stunt? Having his photo taken holding a display centerpiece is a stunt? Where do you get your asinine reasoning from? Having just spent Thanksgiving in a military dining facility myself I can assure you that it is perfectly normal to have such a display. The turkey that is served to the troops is already carved and waiting in a warming tray on the serving line. Imagine how long it would take for over 600 troops to pass through the line if they took the time to individually carve each slice of turkey while each person waited!!

After all, the turkey President Bush is holding was a real turkey and somebody ate it eventually! You people need to pull your heads out of your incredibly DUMB asses!!!!

Funny I never heard Rick gripe about when Clinton formed the little rocks on Normandy beach into the shape of a cross. Or when he was "caught" hugging and kissing Hillary in the woods (ewwwyuck)

But the best was at Ron Browns funeral when Clinton was laughing until he saw the camera was on him then put on the somber face and wiped a tear from his eye.. Touching very touching

Bush is a moron. He couldnt build and maintain a successful oil business in texas. So he decided to invade IRAQ and become a Oil Mogul that way. We can really go on forever on how Bush is one of the worst presidents we've ever had.

There is no doubt he'll get the re-election in 2004. He has over 100 million campaign bucks and people have no idea what hes doing to this country.

way to go brother! ET1(SW) USN here. We put some steel on target in Iraq this past spring. Fortunately, I was able to be with my family at Thanksgiving, but it STILL meant alot to me that my Commander-In_Chief thought enough to want to be with the boys at the front. thank you for your story, and Thank President Bush for being a leader who cares!

BTW, I find nothing wrong with Bush carrying a turkey that was cooked just for the picture - looks much better than carrying a tray full of sliced turkey on Thanksgiving Day; it's symbolic.
