This is why the system has quit working. The 2 parties are so focused on demonizing the other that they can't get together on anything ling enough to get stuff done the right way. Screw em all. Every politician is just out to either keep the office that they have or move up. Congress and the presidency have become a useless waste of time and resources. Nothing gets done through pointless bickering. The founding fathers were passionate about their own individual causes, but they found ways to compromise so that everyone felt satisfied. Shame on the modern parties. Shame on them for wasting the American peoples time and money.
