Holly, they landed today, very nice smelling with an unusual flavor. I'm not going to say what I think they taste like until the others have had chance to try them 🙂

arrived........unusual taste when first lit....."flowery" ? like...may i dare to say....opium type flower taste. it did even out towrds the middle and ended up pretty good. not bad for a botanical..... unless if it actually "had" opium in it...then i'm not sure ! 🙂

well it had a nice scent to it prelight, lots of fresh ginger. Once it was lit though I got a strong taste of bratworst. I think it must have sage in there, because it smoked like a Johnsonville 🙂
There is something else savory in there too, nice aroma to the smoke though 🙂

can't say i sensed food while smoking it......i thought the botanical oils they used did give it a strong purfume taste.....like flowers.....maybe a hint of clove as well , but not much. first lighting it up i wasn't to happy with it but it did tend to mellow out through the lenght of it since i've said i'd give it a taste i didn't want to waste.......grin and bare it!

*perks* what is the name of the cigar?? don't make me scroll please lol - I not feeling well 😞 earache, sore throat, coughing, headache *cries* hoping a sweet gar, peppermint tea wif honey and a sudafed will help my plight. sniffles

Thanks for the review guys. That is what I thought. But there is good news. I had one sitting in my small travel case without the wrapper on for about 2 weeks. I went to a lounge with a newbie friend who wanted to smoke with me so I broke it out. It was actually mmmuuuuch better after having a nice rest. So I highly suggest you pull them out of the wrappers and give them their own little bed to rest in for a bit and they may actually become an occasional change of pace. I'm going to try again and go for the black vanilla to have on hand for friends. I'll let you know if I'll have those to trade later.

I'm finding out that even though i do like the kahlua's .....drew estates also has some i'm not too keen on........like these ! i probably won't buy any of these from here on out....i got a couple left and that's enough......i'll try and let it age / cure a little and see if it mellows out more. maybe then it would be more tolarable.

ahhhh yes the cojimars - Clive gave me one of the ones you gave him HHeaven - haven't tried it yet - being sick and stuffed up and stuff - cigars aren't tasting all that great - thinks I might have to give em up till I get better and my taste buds get back to normal *sighs*
