I have a question though.Is someone saying that the DC Toast was not matched by a comparable cigar?? IMHO either the Monty#2 or the PSD#4
is more than enough compensation in terms of quality of cigar. Is the thinking that the DC Toast is valued more because of it limited availablity?

He might be going by MSRP on that and in that case wouldn't the Toast Across America DC Max be about $25?

I thought Rob's plays in totality were very fair. I think Tony's issue is one for one quality and that we should avoid replacing a single cigar of quality with quantity even if the totality is overkill (I read the rules last night for the first time!).

Since the TAA is such a unique item it is hard to meet that criteria. But Rob has addressed the situation and is working on a solution which should be more than fair.

I agree pretty much with everything. I understand that robs puts were excellent and maybe just as good smokes as the TAA, but the idea is treat each cigar individually and replace it with something of equal value - the TAA MSRP must be assumed to have originally been $25, and now maybe more as there is such a limited number of them. It's a rare, special cigar and I always figured it must be replaced with one as such. But way to step up, everyone, esp. rob & coma. BOTL props to all.

Tony, Fred, Albert thanks for the offer's but this is a done deal. Fred the DC is on the way insured for $50.00 and has a couple of guards around it! This is not about 1 stick!!!

A few facts
1. It's Tony pass, he supposed to monitior it and he has done a great job. I agree with the rules, I cannot put ten $1.00 smokes to equal 1 $10.00 smoke. In this case a couple of I don't know $8.00 to $10.00 for the DC. It was just a "kicked ground ball", on my part, I was glad to be able to get the guy at second! (Meaning I am glad I didn't smoke that thing right away :))

2. I had a great time Tuseday with the boy's I am happy.

3. I would rather clean up my own mess than have other's bail me out ( but thank you guys for the offer) Tony, Fred and Albert

4. a single stick, heck a whole box is NOT worth more to me than my Rep or Friendship.
