Had a Torano signiture torp on the porch tonight. After finding a beetle damaged Fonseca Sungrown Cedar! I believe the damage was pre-freeze from when I found bugs in the summer. Posted a pic, but it's not up yet. Checked and rechecked everything... (fingers crossed)

Partagas Lusi
Cohiba Siglo III
Bolivar Royal Corona PEL 01 - from a very organized trader this info was on the band
Oliva Maddie torp
Tribute torp

and threw a Bahia gold maddie in the pocket.

Heading out now to catch a game and smoke the Lusi since when I woke up at 0630 it was 70 degrees and Thunderstorming. No fishing today.

Long day, started at 5:30 getting ready for T-Ball opening day parade, and just finished their game. We lost 14-7, but they don't know it.

Heading down to grab a Heinekin and a Hemi Classic, and root for UNC in the tourney.

How was the Bahia, Tony? E-mail me

Today I smoked a Partagas Black. It was a dark day when Gonzaga lost. The cigar was pretty good. Needed age and dryboxing, but flavor was great.

robby: here's hoping no more of your stash is "holy." 😛 that bites.

just had great time sitting by the campfire out back and under a gorgeous sky full of stars. enjoyed a 1959 toraño gold robusto. man, what a fine cigar that is. all of them should be so well constructed and tasty.

None finer than the Cohiba Robusto. I have just one left from our Windjammer cruise. I knew a place in Illinois where I could boxes for less than domestic brands. We lived there four years and man was I spoiled.

Friday afternoon I met up with my classmates Kazama and Kevin and did a trade in which I ended up with one of Kazamas Partagas 150 A. Without discussing the details of the trade (it was totally fair) this was something you do when you just have to try a cigar to see what it's all about.

So I did the 150 and had a marvelous experience. The extensive aging was very apparent and the experience was memorable. Nice complexity and an outstanding smoothness. It was definitely one of the best I've smoked, not better that some other super premiums I've tried but definitely unique and memorable.

Since then the weekend has gone a bit downhill. My NCAA brackets are a mess I've had to spend a lot of time at work and even the cigars I've smoked haven't been in the same league.... well I did have a nicely aged Padron 2000 Maddie last night that was fine....

Today is going to be a Fuente Sunday with a Chateau Sungrown this afternoon and a FFOX tonight (Robusto I think)

That's it, last night's date was a bomb, had to work 4 hours today on my weekend, still too much paperwork to think about, so I'm going long. Going to dig deep, like a ground squirrel and pull out an On-Yeah-Hole!

Guess I'll smoke a RyJ EL 2001 robusto. Haven't ever had one, and just got a 5pack from a friend.

Damn Darkside, has been getting the better of me lately. I had a PSD#3 EL 2001, last night, and it was better than the PSD#2 EL 2001, I had last tues. Or the RyJ CHurchill I had then as well. Though all of those mentioned, have been great smokes, lets see what RyJ can do in the EL department.

dbguru - That 150 A is a mighty fine smoke. I haven't had anything better yet in my life time.

Yes, I have had many, many different cigars and if anyone wants to convince me otherwise, feel free to send me a cigar of your choice to prove me wrong. 🙂
