Also - I don't view law suits where hospitals mix up NO and O2 valves as frivilous. Nor do I view botched surgeries where the doctor was in a hurry, drunk, stoned, etc., and he makes a huge screw-up that ruins someone's life, as frivilous. Those are shock losses that all insurance companies are able to handle because that's why they write policies. No insurance carrier can handle the losses when attorneys make a cottage industry out of the "case of the month".
