I believe CE was simply getting the word out he was organizing a troop package. Nothing wrong with putting the word out by someone doing good deeds.

This post by CE was a thank you by CE to sanity and reminding folks that he was welcoming more smokes for the package.

I think CE's only fault here was a level of expectation that reader of this post had seen the other posts of his re this package.

I'm with Jade here.

#4 WTF? I was just asking what kind of cigars they were. Don't let your panties bunch up over that.

#6 As it happens, I have a neighbor across the street who is active duty. He is currently in Iraq. We saw him off again for his most recent rotation with a nice care package for he and the other folks in his squad. I just don't feel a need to trumpet my generosity around here and tell everyone what a swell **** guy I am. So you can take your attitude and shove it up your ass.

#7 Easy to go to law school? You are **** delusional. If it's so easy, you go do it. And do it on a scotch tape and band-aid budget like I did, since my family never ahad any money and I had to work every damned hour I could get. Get through a week with a full course load and working three jobs, putting in 20-22 hour days and still ending up $50K in debt when you finish, with no guarantee of a job. You want lonely and depressing, you could also try studying in an otherwise empty law library at 4 in the morning, because that's the only time you could fit it in....

Man, when the hell did so many people decide to COMPLETELY lose their goddamned minds around here and get so **** sanctimonious??? This **** is ridiculous, even by Cbid standards. Not a lick of truth or sense involved in these posts.

Incidentally, Uncle Fester, all I could tell from the pic and your brilliantly-worded prose was that someone sent you 10 cigars. How the **** was I supposed to know they were sent for someone else or whatever?

#8 Amen, thank you.

#13 Fine. The two of you can move to Vermont and get married.

#15 Apparently you need the constant recognition if you are an insecure dickhead, like CE. Man, and I thought the Corvette shtick was bad enough. I even laid back on the guy...frankly, he was so idiotic and so impressed with the smell of his own **** that I was starting to feel a little mean for having flipped him **** before. Kind of like picking on the "special" kid in class.

Well, he's taken care of that. I feel no such hesitation now.

#20 No kidding. I didn't think they really were 1876's. I thought you could see the numbers on the bands if they were. I never assume no cigar has some love somewhere. Hell, there was a guy here a couple years back looking for Fighting **** cigars. I bought a bunch cheap back before I knew what a "good" cigar tasted like. He offered a trade...I just sent him the 20-25 I had and told him to enjoy them, gratis.

Guess I should have asked someone to hold a **** parade for me.

#21 Well, my most sincere and humble apologies for not following every single post and word from Uncle Fester as if it were words spilling from God's own lips. I mean, Aunt Douchebag here has been posting 30-40 threads a day on single topics. I guess I should have at least been thankful this wasn't post #100 on the BP oil spill.

BTW, Eddie...pleaase find something sharp sticking out of a house or barn or something and run into it, really quickly.

Sonofabitch. They ARE 1876s. I didn't really think they were. Sanity, my apologies to you. As I alluded to (I'm looking on one of my employee's computers right now, with a different monitor), someone out there will always like a particular cigar. Someone will smoke an 1876 and think it is the best cigar he/she ever had, and will enjoy the hell out of it. I was trying to make light of it without realizing that is what you sent. My bad on that.

Looks like Pac got his panties in a bunch. Also Thanks for the laugh about law school being so lonely. I mean it must have been really tough considering you were in the lonely library all by yourself. I mean that really does compare to being a thousand miles away with NO way to call someone you care about or enjoy the simplest things such as a Big Mac or walking on grass. As far as myself going to law school, no Thanks I make a really good living doing what I do and I don't have to sell my soul.

#26 Translation: "I have no idea what I am talking about, but I'm not about to let that stop me from acting like I do."

Selling souls? Puh-leeze. This from a guy who thinks women will bone him just because he's driving a Corvette? Take the LSAT, apply for law school, let us know how far you got. Otherwise, quit trying to duck the very issue that your brought up, you **** pansy.

Pac - I'm happily married, I drive a Corvette because I can afford it and my wife and I enjoy it.

Why on earth would I go to law school? I have no desire to be a lawyer, I have no desire to chase ambulances or defend people that should be locked away. I love what I do and I make really good money, and the best part is I can look myself in the mirror and not be ashamed of what I do.

Again, you appear to be ascribing types of behaviors to every single person who has gone to law school. You think it's easy, then you apply or STFU.

I have known many good men and women who have served in the military. You keep attempting to deflect attention from you by disparaging an entire profession which you admittedly know nothing about. That is pure cowardice.

I cannot imagine how you ever survived in the military with no spine and being so afraid of anything as to even back your own words. You must jump at the sight of your own shadow. Pitiful and pathetic.

You have made the claim: "It’s a lot easier to go to Law School & Truck Driving school then sign up for the service and be deployed." Now you are unwilling to back your own words and attempt either. Instead you want to try to sit back and slander every person in an entire profession.

You, sir, are a coward. Pure and simple. Put up or shut up...law school or truck driving school, get your application going or you will be admitting your cowardice.

Pac - You seriously look like a foul, but I rather enjoy it. I'm not sure which part of I make great money and love what I do, and there for do not want to change my profession you don't understand. The more you talk the easier I think law school has to be, because you seem as dense as a stump.

I think what has happened is now that you are older you feel ashamed for not joining the service and now your lashing out like a child. The good thing is you are in good company John Wayne had the same complex, and he spent the rest of his life making up for not joining the service.

OK one more time - I LOVE WHAT I DO AND I DON'T WANT TO BECOME A LAWYER..

I help keep innocent people from going to jail. I help families from losing their kids. You disparage an entire profession because you are unable and/or unwilling to back your own words, and instead attack thousands of people who are not here to defend themselves.

I don't need your approval to feel good about my work. Especially since you are clearly too cowardly to back your own words. I'm not sure how that makes me look like a "foul", but every time I've tasked you with backing your own words, you run away, hiding behind this cowardly attack on an entire profession.

Thank you for reminding me that it is better to live one day as a tiger than a thousand as a sheep.

We'll be looking forward to your news that you've applied to law school or truck driving school. Anything less is misdirection and admission that you are a coward.

You know I don't watch sports so you can paint it any color you like. I think a lot of people dislike the Packers so that would be good.

Wow no good deed goes unpunished.....

Pac I was simply trying to clerify CE's good deed, not defend past duchebaggery or narcassism. CE attacking your and coops professions is all him. If someone isn't breaking the law I refuse to mock how a man provides for his family.

Despite you proclaiming my death awhile back I do respect you Pac. I'd smoke with you anytime and I only hate one lawyer and you aint him.I'd smoke with you too CE....can't we all get along? I really don't think any of us are this important.
